Theresa DickinsonTheresa Dickinson has been teaching for 22 years. 19 of those years have been here at LCMS. She has taught all three grade levels and taught the high school ELA class that was once offered to 8th graders. After teaching ELA for most of her career, Mrs Dickinson craved a challenge and decided to jump into the world of social studies. She brings the color and flair to the 6th grade social studies team and is often responsible for the more creative aspects of the curriculum. Mrs Dickinson is a huge Tennessee Volunteers fan. She has been married to her husband for 31 years. They have 2 children and 1 grandchild.

Grady FlanaganMr Flanagan is in his 7th year teaching. He spent 4 years teaching high school economics in Pickens County where he also coached football and wrestling. Mr Flanagan took a few years off to work in the private sector but found he couldn't stay away from teaching. He spent 1 year as an alternative school director before coming to Lumpkin County. Mr Flanagan is married and has 4 children. Mr Flanagan serves as our 6th grade level chair and coaches football at the high school. He is a huge sports fan and a military veteran, serving 6 years in the Air Force.

Darren GlennCoach Darren Glenn is entering his 7th year here at Lumpkin County Middle School. Coach Glenn brings a storied history and variety of experiences to the Social Studies Department. He spent 30 years as a law enforcement officer before coming to teaching. He holds bachelor's degrees in Criminal Justice and education. He also holds a master's degree and an educational specialist degree. He has served as a football and wrestling coach and is currently the head middle school coach. Coach Glenn and his wife are proud parents of four adult boys. When he isn't in the classroom or coaching football, coach Glenn can be found at Riverside Tavern, which he owns and operates.
